Complex Care Group Trust – Information Events

Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin – November 2025

You are invited to attend a free event to learn about the Complex Care Group and how we can help your family members, communities, patients and clients to navigate the high and complex needs disability sector.   Complex Care Group is a Disability Information Advisory Service contracted by Disability Support Services, Ministry of Social Development.  We support those with very high and complex disability needs, and their families.

Please share this information with families you support, your colleagues and other disability sector organisations you work with – via newsletters, social media, websites, chat groups, etc.   We know there are many families and organisations out there who would benefit from knowing about Complex Care Group and how we can help families and professionals.

Lisa Martin (Director) and Tony McLean (Board Member) will guide you through an information session covering:

  • Who is Complex Care Group and what we do
  • How we help disabled people, family/whanau and professionals – navigating a complex sector to find the right supports
  • How the Disability Support System is currently structured and how it might look in future
  • Information on
    • possible disability supports you may be eligible for
    • how the Needs Assessment process works
    • who are the various providers in the disability sector
    • differences in types of supports via ACC, Disability, Long Term Chronic Health Conditions
    • possible Work and Income support
    • what is Individualised Funding and how can I use it
    • possible living options when it’s time to leave the family home
