A 90-minute free online workshop for parents and caregivers hosted by VisAble
Facilitated by Amanda Hanna SomaPsych | Trauma-Informed Education
Parenting in the context of child-to-parent violence (CPVA) can be overwhelming, isolating, and deeply exhausting. This gentle and practical workshop offers support, understanding, and accessible tools to help you care for your nervous system — and reconnect with your own sense of steadiness and strength.
Grounded in trauma-informed care, we’ll explore key concepts from polyvagal theory and somatic practices to build awareness, resilience, and options for regulation — both for yourself and in your family relationships.
What we’ll cover:
A clear introduction to the nervous system and polyvagal theory
Simple, practical tools for self-regulation
Ways to weave these tools into everyday life, even in the hard moments
Space for questions, reflection, and real-life application
A follow-up handout and personalised nervous system support planner
Online via Zoom
90 minutes | June 22, 2025 | 7:00–8:30pm
No prior experience is needed — this is a welcoming space for all parents and caregivers who have or are experiencing CPVA.
