Needs Assessment Tool and Individualised Funding Budget Allocations – Free Complex Care Group Online Workshops

Join us for a free online workshop where myself and Complex Care Group board member Tony McLean https://www.complexcaregroup.org.nz/about/board-members/  will guide you through some of the changes to the disability Needs Assessment tool and Individualised Funding (Personalised Funding) budget allocations, effective from early April.

As you may have heard, Disability Support Services (DSS) have created a new Needs Assessment tool which will be used throughout New Zealand.  The tool will be applied to existing users of disability support services from early April.  Also, DSS have re-calculated Individualised Funding (IF) budget allocations for users of IF – these will also be applied from early April.

For the first 30 minutes of this online workshop we will be joined by Alastair Hill, General Manager, Disability Support Services Transformation.  Alastair will talk us through the changes and take some questions, then he will leave the workshop.  Tony and I will carry on with discussions and answer your questions (where we can) or will collate your questions for Alastair to answer later.

This is an opportunity to come together and learn about these changes at DSS, which will affect most disabled people.
