THE PEOPLE’S GROUP – NEXT MEETING 5TH MAY

Please see below notification from Ministry of Health re the People’s Group next meeting 5th May:
 
Kia ora koutou katoa,
 
It’s nearly time for the next session of the ‘The People’s Group’ – COVID-19 information and preparedness for disabled people, whānau and carers, on Thursday 5 May, 12-1pm.
 
This Thursday people will hear the latest COVID information for the disability community from the Ministry of Health and guests including face coverings, eligibility for COVID therapeutic medicines, and protecting yourself against Influenza. We’ll also touch on planning to improve the response to future pandemics for the disabled community.
 
Please let your networks know through your own email, newsletter or social channels by providing the weblink and session time.People simply ‘click to join’ at 12pm on Thursday. NZ Sign Language interpreters will be joining us.

These virtual sessions are convened especially for disabled people and their families, whānau, aiga and carers to provide the latest practical information and guidance on preparing and responding to COVID-19. The Ministry and guests will let you know what’s happening in the COVID-19 space relevant to disabled people and may seek your views from time to time.
 
The sessions are open to everyone. Anyone is welcome to share the meeting link.
 
The sessions are delivered over Microsoft Teams. Anyone can join a Teams meeting – no software or an MS Teams account is needed.
