Our koha to the disability community
Kia ora koutou,
Covid has affected many whānau hauā (disabled people and their families), and winter makes it harder. For whānau hauā in need, the Awahou network has care packs to support those who have to isolate or with winter ailments here in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Our packs include Covid tests (RATS), items to help relieve Covid or flu symptoms, hygiene products and a grocery voucher for other items you might need.
Please contact your Awahou service member below, or Faye at Te Roopu Waiora if you need a care pack for your kainga. Once we have your details, we can arrange pick up or delivery.
